Product Description

I've just purchased some new tea for 2023.

This year's Anbot is characterized by its rich chestnut flavor and a sweetness similar to that of a potato that fills your mouth.

There is a slight astringency, but it is not too strong and makes it easy to drink.

The earthy sweetness of Ambot Tea Garden is characteristic of the tea, reminiscent of potatoes, chestnuts, and pumpkins, and the sweetness and umami that spreads slowly in your mouth is overwhelming. This year, you can also feel the savory flavor of burnt cacao trees.

The sweetness is truly intense, and with just one sip the sweetness spreads throughout your mouth, but you can also taste more of the astringency that is more typical of black tea than last year, making this a truly pleasant cup of tea.

This black tea has an exquisite balance of sweetness and flavor, is not too bitter, and is very easy to drink, so when you try it, be sure to enjoy its rich sweetness to the fullest.

What is Ilam Tea?

You may not be familiar with this, but it is actually black tea grown in the Ilam region of Nepal, which is located just across the border from the well-known Darjeeling region (a famous black tea producing region in northeastern India). Therefore, it has a similar taste and aroma to Darjeeling tea, and is very easy to drink. In particular, we recommend drinking it straight, which allows you to enjoy the delicate flavor of the tea leaves.

About Ilam Tea's new product, the 2023 second flush

This year's new tea has been blessed with light rain and is characterized by a rich fragrance that is said to be a once in 10 years occurrence. Our buyers confidently recommend this season's Ilam black tea. Please give it a try!
