The founder, Hara-san, developed a love for dressings from a young age as he ate homemade dressings made by his mother. What really sparked his passion for dressings was his encounter with a dressing being sold at a department store in Tokushima, where he was first assigned after entering the workforce.

Before founding his own company, he worked for four different food companies, and as he continued to work he gradually developed a desire to make his own dressings, which led to him opening a store near the Ko-Naruto Strait in Naruto City, Tokushima Prefecture in 2010.

In the beginning, we started by making five types of dressings. The first dressing we made is our original dressing that is still popular today, and at the time, we sometimes researched and worked on it at home.

Always striving to improve, it has been renewed approximately 10 times, relentlessly improving its precision, and continues to evolve today.

The secret to its deliciousness

Hara has three key points when making dressings.

Uma Foods' clients include family restaurants across the country, GRIP SECOND, which operates multiple restaurants in the Tokyo metropolitan area, and luxury resort hotels, and the high quality of their dressings has been recognized, so they sell to wholesalers.

We were deeply impressed by Hara's love and passion for dressings and tomato ketchup sauce, and were fascinated by the quality and deliciousness that did not disappoint, so we decided to carry his products.
