The citrus fruit "Sudachi" is a specialty of Tokushima Prefecture, which accounts for approximately 98% of the national production.

The other day, we harvested high-quality sudachi citrus fruits in Kamikatsu Town, where we produce Awa Bancha tea.
The pesticide-free sudachi grown at an altitude of 600m has a greater temperature difference than on the plains, so the fruit is vibrant green, firm and juicy, with an unimaginably rich flavor.

Because they are grown without any pesticides, there may be some irregularities in the size and color of the produce, but this means you can eat them whole without worry.

Hot pot dishes are perfect for the coming season, and are typically served with seasonal autumn ingredients such as saury and matsutake mushrooms, but "sudachi soba" and "sudachi somen," made by floating lots of sliced sudachi on soba or handa somen noodles, are simple dishes that are both fragrant and visually gorgeous.

In addition, we also recommend using it in alcoholic drinks, such as mixing shochu with soda, taking advantage of its refreshing aroma and mild acidity.

Lemon is generally used to add flavor (accent) to food, but we have prepared sudachi, a staple in high-end Japanese restaurants and traditional Japanese cuisine, so that you can easily use it on your everyday dinner table.

Enjoy the exquisite combination of sourness and refreshing aroma.
