A fabric brand born in Kamikatsu Town, Tokushima Prefecture. In this town rich in nature, blessed with trees and mountain water, they manufacture wooden cloth made from thinned cedar trees. They use this cloth to make everyday items such as towels and sponges. The cloth made from natural materials has a light feel and smooth texture like linen, and dries quickly. It is easy to use in humid areas, and the texture becomes softer and softer with each wash.
About Kamikatsu Town
Surrounded by nature, Kamikatsu is the smallest town in Shikoku. We often visit here to find healing. Known worldwide as the town that made the "Zero Waste Declaration," Kamikatsu is a pioneer in environmental activism. Zero waste is an activity that aims to eliminate waste, garbage, and extravagance and create a society that does not produce garbage. There is a large garbage station in the center of the town, where garbage is separated into 45 categories into 13 categories, and the town's residents' recycling rate is 79.7% (as of 2017), which is one of the highest in the country. KINOF is made of materials that return to nature, and the packaging is simplified and no plastic is used. It is a zero waste product that is typical of Kamikatsu.
