This hand cream contains a well-balanced blend of five highly penetrating emollient ingredients. It replenishes moisture to the stratum corneum and protects the surface of the skin, preventing dryness in hands and fingertips and keeping them moist. It has the distinctive scent of sudachi peel, combining the freshness and spiciness of Japanese citrus fruits.
At Yamagami Kaju Yakusoen, we use a Peratrice to extract the sudachi essential oil that we use to add fragrance. This method involves scraping off the outer skin vigorously and squeezing out the oil. The advantage of Peratrice is that the essential oil does not come into contact with the juice. This keeps the essential oil from deteriorating, allowing you to enjoy the original fresh scent.

However, in recent years, interest in and demand for Japanese citrus fruits, including yuzu, has increased, making the stable supply of yuzu essential oil uncertain. So, through a person who is instructing the 6th industry in local governments across the country, a relationship was formed between Matsuyama Oil and Tokushima Prefecture, and they came across Sanagouchi Village. Tokushima Prefecture is the second largest producer of yuzu in Japan, and the largest producer of sudachi, making it a famous producer of Japanese citrus fruits. Cultivation in the village is particularly thriving.
